I am a Full Time classically trained Artist from the Art Institute of Boston. I have painted 45 years and was involved with the graphic arts & Illustration industry until the computer technology showed up in the late 1980’s and changed the way art was done forever. I graduated from the Art Institute of Boston and was fortunate to study under several practicing NYC Artists including Norman Baer, a magazine illustrator, Walter Marks a NYC Art Director and Nathaniel Goldstein a renowned fine artist. My work is done old school technique first gathering reference for my small pen and ink thumbnail concept sketches then develop larger drawings then on to the canvas for the final painting. I gather reference from my photo’s and sometime requires posing models.
